10 Must Take Trips for every Indian Biker

  1. MANALI – LEH LADAKH

    Well,  it is popularly considered one of the most difficult routes to attempt, hence new riders be careful! However, it’s also one of the most adventurous.  Through a beautiful valley in Manali reach a gorgeous peak in Leh. You would definitely need a guide or be a part of a motorcycle tour to get past Khardung La. The pass is a very tough one to manoeuvre past. You could pick a route that passes through Rohtang La, Sarchi and Upshi. Also you need at least 15 days on hand to do this trip though.

  2. BANGALORE – KANNUR

    If you’re planning a vacation in Kerala, the best way is to have a road trip to Kannur. You have to pass through Nagarhole and Tholpatty and then get to Kuthuparamba from Manandvady, then go all the way to Kuthuparamba before you reach the place. The scenic biking trail is home to several lakes that you can take regular pit stops at as well. You would love the roving cliffs you’ll be riding past and also the delicious local restaurants.

    Always a great route when you ride through Darjeeling and Sikkim and to add further to the adventure list ride through Kalimpong. Pelling and Gangtok are also great pit stops. There are some of the colourful markets on the way.

  4. SHIMLA – SPITI VALLEY 

    Just imagine riding your favourite bike on the beautiful highway and beautiful valley through Shimla amidst the sights and sounds of nature. With orchards, shrines and an invigorating resting place, the best route to get this experience would be to go past Baspa, Kinnaur, Kalpa and Kaza to reach the valley.

  5. BHALUPKONG – TAWANG

    One of the most beautiful route and also very challenging! You need to make you way to Arunachal Pradesh to get through this route all the way to Tawang. Lots of pit stops on this one! During end of the year you would see the roads covered with snow which makes it a great experience.

  6. GUWAHATI – KHASI HILLS

    Quite a awesome ride, dotted with bridges and waterfalls. You would love the waterfalls which make great pit stops and the living root bridges in Nongriat. Rides can get a little damp and the trail could be wet and slippery, hence Be Careful!  Making the ride through Shillong right up to the Khasi Hills in the east is a great way to have the perfect biking experience.

  7. PURI – KONARK (via NH 203)

    The Puri-Konark highway is one of those beautiful and excellent roads for Biking and Photography. The short stretch of 36 km can be covered in about an hour and makes for a memorable road trip. The canopy formed by the trees on either side of the road, the soft misty breeze and the obvious idyllic beauty will leave you mesmerized.

  8. BANGALORE – BANDIPUR FOREST

    The Bandipur Forest route to Bangalore is one of the most beautiful trips through forests in India, that you’ll ever take.  One can take the same road to Ooty from Mysore passing though Bandipur National Park. You might spot deer , elephants crossing the road. This stretch is 235 km long and takes around 5 hours. You will find McDonalds and Cafe Coffee Day on the route which are the perfect stop overs!

  9. BARMER – BIKANER 

    This is one trip you must take on a bike because of endless stretches of Sand through a desert destination without losing your mind. The ride is serene and calm because of the lack of population in most of the regions and you’ll feel like royalty when you’re done! Experience the Great Indian Thar Desert on a long bike ride is enough to make this one of our favourites!

  10. DELHI – MANDAWA 

     Imagine riding for hours and ingesting a little history at the same time! As a biker this trip would satisfy you for sure! Going via the Taj Mahal,  stopping at the Fatehpur Sikri falls in between Agra and Jaipur, seeing some of the forts in the city and getting into a cultural mood at Pushkar what else could you crave for !
