It’s time that Women should travel SOLO in India!

  1. NAINITAL – UTTARAKHAND

    “Nainital”, the exquisite hill station is located in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The scenic view of the town not only lures the domestic travellers but also attract a lot of foreign tourists. Inhabited by the Kumaoni people, who are known for their warm smiles and helping nature makes this destination a safe place for single female traveller.   2. SHIMLA, HIMACHAL PRADESH 

     Shimla derives its name from Shyamala Devi, an incarnation of the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest covering the Jakhu Hill in the early 19th century. Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh and also the summer capital is blessed with scenic beauty and soothing climate and friendly people thus making this hill station a perfect for solo female travellers. Shimla is filled with a lot of hotels plus eateries. The toy train is one of the prime attractions in Shimla.

  3. UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN

    Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the East’, the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is hemmed in by lush green hills of Aravallis. The famous Lake Palace, located in the middle of Lake Pichola is one of the most beautiful sights of Udaipur. Udaipur is one of those cities in Rajasthan that is clearly safe for women and highly hospitable. People are friendly and one has the ease of roaming freely in the city.

  4. MYSORE, KARNATAKA

    Mysore is one of the safest places for women travellers in India. The amicable gentry makes it easier for females to loiter around safely. Mysore, the City of Palaces, is popularly called, is a hub of sandalwood, premium silk and incense. It is a flamboyant city with exceptional weather throughout the year. Mysore zoo and the magnificent Mysore Palace are not going to let the traveller sit idle for even a moment.

  5. VARANASI, UTTAR PRADESH

    Varanasi, known as the Spiritual Capital of India, is located on the banks of river Ganga and is considered the holiest city in India. Travelling in Varanasi is a breathtaking experience. Varanasi is crazily crowded hence we cannot call it a very safe place for women; however knowing some of the Indian ways to communicate with people will lead you a wonderful time here. Discreet dressing and not giving an ear to touts is the key to a great holiday in Varanasi.

  6. RISHIKESH, UTTARAKHAND

    Rishikesh, reckoned as one of the best places for river rafting in India is on the foothills of the Himalaya in Uttarakhand. Camping along the free flowing emerald Ganga is a thumbs up for this place. If female travelling is the motive, then get your girlies ready for travel to Rishikesh.

  7. HAMPI, KARNATAKA

    Hampi is located in the central part of the state of Karnataka, in the southern part of India. It is 353 km from Bangalore, and 13 km from Hospet. Hampi is famous for its ruins belonging to the erstwhile medieval Hindu kingdom of Vijaynagar and it is declared a World Heritage site. The temples of Hampi, its monolithic sculptures and monuments, attract the traveler because of their excellent workmanship. If you are a female backpacker, you are surely going to love this place as it offers cheap accommodation, gives you the chance to meet with people from different countries and apparently makes you feel free without the fear of safety because of its hospitable, friendly and culturally wealthy people.

  8. SIKKIM

    Sikkim is one of the most politically stable and peaceful place in India. This landlocked state is blessed with some of the most spectacular landscapes, flora and fauna making it a haven for adventure enthusiasts and naturalists. This part of India is blessed with pristine beauty and if you are a woman traveller who has set out in search of immaculate splendor in India then this place is perfect for you!

  9. PUDUCHERRY 

    Away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, Puducherry is a quiet little town on the southern coast of India. Puducherry is a well maintained Union Territory that often resembles one of the French cities and has nicely-cobbled roads, lined with yellow colonial-style houses and clean air. This town in South India is a quiet little place with amiable people and friendly environment and is ideally the best place for solo women travellers.
